I'm Makayla Faber, the face behind MF Weddings + Events. I started this business after planning my own wedding and falling in love with the process. I poured myself into every detail (maybe a little too much my husband would say), and my passion didn’t go unnoticed. The wedding coordinator that I had hired encouraged me to turn my enthusiasm into a career. She ended up hiring me to coordinate her own wedding the following year and that paved the way for me into this industry! Wedding planning is where my love for design, organization, and genuine connection comes together. My personal experience alongside my education in event management has given me the confidence and skills to bring anyone’s vision to life!
Outside the world of weddings, I spend my downtime with my husband and our two little fluffs, Finn & Weezy. My husband and I have travelled all around the world – 5 continents so far! We have walked all over Europe, rode camels around the Great Pyramids of Giza, ate ramen in Japan, bicycled through Australia, drove four wheelers in the jungles of Bali, and so many other great adventures together. When we’re not traveling, you can find me at a concert, at the lake, or at home working on some kind of crafting project!

From our first conversation, my focus is on understanding your story, your priorities, and the little details that matter most to you. Every decision we make is rooted in intention and heart -- ensuring your celebration feels collaborative, cohesive and uniquely yours.
Throughout the process, I will provide steady guidance, open communication, and thoughtful organization. My role is to protect your vision, advocate for your best interests, and give you the mental space to be fully present in this season. On your wedding day, I will be there quietly managing the moving pieces, solving problems before they reach you, and ensuring every element comes together beautifully. My greatest goal is for you to look back and remember not the logistics -- but the laughter, the emotion, and the love that filled the room.
